Weston, MA Intimate Wedding at the Weston Town Hall {Laura + Fred}

Congratulations, Laura and Fred! I am so honored to have been a part of this beautiful couple's elopement last week at the Weston Town Hall. I met up with Laura and Fred to capture their elopement ceremony and some portraits of the newlyweds. And let me say, they were so much fun to work with. Not only were they super adorable together, snuggling up for portraits and laughing the whole time, but they also completely embraced the rainy weather. While it was just a drizzle, it was definitely constant and it didn't phase these two for a second. After all, it also brought with it some really beautiful overcast skies, a photographer's dream for an 11am wedding.

The ceremony took place on the steps of Lanson Park, with the beautiful Town Hall building just behind us. We utilized the building's classic charm, the red brick and stone pillars and ventured around Lason Park to capture the summer time greenery. On the way in, I also spotted a gorgeous stone wall covered in ivy at a nearby church, The First Parish Church in Weston, so we hopped in the car to capture some images with the beautiful background as well.

While I was only with Laura and Fred for an hour, I can easily say that it was a total pleasure to photograph them on their wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Dedham, MA Wedding at The Endicott Estate {George + Jose}

George and Jose were married last month at the beautiful Endicott Estate in Dedham, MA. The overcast skies provided the perfect lighting to photograph the handsome couple and their family and friends outside, taking advantage of the grounds of the estate. Their ceremony followed on the front lawn where the couple exchanged vows and rings and were pronounced husband and husband with smiles and cheers all around.

And while they learned just a few weeks in advance that the Town of Dedham was going to be celebrating Flag Day on the same date with a parade and fireworks surrounding their venue, the couple embraced the ciaos, and even enjoyed the marching band heard in the distance during their ceremony. It helped that George met his Maid of Honor while both playing the piccolo, a unique sound we could hear in the band, so the whole thing was entirely perfect.Congratulations, George and Jose!

And now some previews from their wedding day! Enjoy!

Cambridge, MA Wedding at City Hall and Harvest Restaurant {Ratnakar & Cheryl}

Congratulations Ratnakar and Cheryl! I had the pleasure of photographing this couple for their intimate wedding this past Saturday. We met up at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences to photograph some portraits of just the couple in an private setting. While we were just a few steps from the city, this area truly felt like a green oasis. It was the perfect spot to capture their first wedding day portraits and was only a short drive away from Cambridge City Hall.

This couple had the honor of having the Mayor of Cambridge, E. Dennis Simmons officiate their wedding ceremony. With their closest family and friends witnessing, they said their vows and were officially married in the Mayor's quarters in at Cambridge City Hall.

We were then able to sneak away for just a bit to photograph a few more portraits of the couple at the beautiful Longfellow House in Cambridge before heading over to their lunch reception at Harvest Restaurant.

While I was only with this couple for a few hours, it was clear to see that they had a picture perfect love. Congratulations again to this lovely couple!
