Caratunk, ME Wedding of Alexandra and Nick at the Maine Lakeside Cabins

I absolutely loved being a part of Alex and Nick's big day. The setting was more gorgeous than words on a beautiful lake in Caratunk, Maine. The morning was a bit overcast, a photographer's dream for all of our portraits and getting ready details. The ceremony was beautifully crafted by the bride, full of beautiful flowers and DIY details like the signs that were handmade by the bridesmaids. After the ceremony and portraits finished, there was a break in the clouds and the most gorgeous summer sun came flooding in right for the couple's portraits. They were literally spotlighted by the sun - it was pretty incredible. The evening was full of laughs and amazing dancing. All in all, I felt blessed to be a part of this amazing day.

And, as a lucky bonus for me, my husband assisted the wedding with me as it was our two year anniversary weekend. What an amazing way to spend it together! ♥

Wellesley, MA Wedding of Erica and Chris, Second Shooting for Nicole Bass Photography

{Back Blog} - Wedding Date: August 4, 2014

Location: Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA

I had a great time second shooting for Nicole Baas Photography for Erica & Chris' wedding at Wellesley College. It was so refreshing to play the role of second shooter, focus on the groom, the alternative angle shots, the candid moments during portraits, etc. My amazing second shooter, MC, usually takes the role of photographing the groom so for this wedding, I had a blast photographing the groom and groomsmen getting ready, and all of their details. Clearly this groom in particular was a pretty amazing person. Take a look below.

Sunday River, ME Wedding of Jen & Michelle at the Mountain House on Sunday River

{Back Blog} - Wedding Date: July 5, 2014

Location: The Mountain House on Sunday River, Sunday River, ME

Michelle and Jen are both incredibly beautiful and equally as kind. Their big day was full of love and emotion. The support from their family was palpable, as was the love the two share for each other. I loved photographing every moment, especially the time I spent with just the two of them, with the breathtaking mountain backdrop. I am so excited to share these wedding photographs. I wish you two the best of luck in what I know will be a very successful marriage!

Pawtucket, RI Wedding of Lali & Kati

{Back Blog} - Wedding Date: June 21, 2014

Location: Slater Museum, Pawtucket, RI

Lali & Kati are two of the most in love people I have ever photographed. They met during Pride 5 years ago and celebrated their wedding during Pride 2014, still just as smitten as the day they met. They are incredibly affectionate and incredibly kind.

Every detail of this completely vegan wedding was handmade by the brides with care, from the bouquets to the centerpieces.

And, at the end of the night, a young man walked by the outside of the venue with a rainbow flag in his hands and told us he had just been celebrating all day at Pride. The brides immediately invited him over for photos and a cupcake! It was the perfect way to end the evening.

Congratulations to Lali & Kati! So much love to you both!
