Happy Wedding Anniversary Checka and Farless!

Two years ago today I photographed my first wedding. Checka and Farless believed in me when they chose me to photograph their big day and their family welcomed me and my assistants with so much love that we really felt a part of their family that day. The wedding itself was so full of love and support and genuine happiness. It was exactly what a wedding is meant to be, a venue to celebrate a lifetime of love not only of the bride and groom but of an entire family. It inspired me go down this path, to leave my corporate job, and pour my heart and soul into this business. For that, I cannot thank them enough. Wishing Checka & Farless so much happiness today and always.

Canton, MA Wedding at Pequitside Farm {Barbara + Matt}

I was honored last February when Matt asked me to photograph his surprise wedding proposal to Barbara. It was the first time I had been asked to document such an occasion and I can't even tell you... it was just beautiful beyond words. Matt and Barbara met at JP Centre Yoga so it was apropos for him to propose to her after the same class they met in one year later. I sneakily took the class, "packed up" and then hid behind the doorway from the teachers' room. Matt put on a beautiful song, I Choose You, and as they did some partner yoga poses, Matt opened up a yoga block with a hidden ring box inside. Oh how I get goosebumps just writing about it now. A few weeks later I met with them to talk about their big day and was incredibly happy to receive the email, "we now have a question for you... will you be our wedding photographer!?" Even before seeing the photographs, I bet you can already tell that these two are the sweetest people. I adored photographing their Pequitside Farm wedding earlier this month filled with DIY goodies and a ton of love. What a beautiful day!

Caratunk, ME Wedding of Alexandra and Nick at the Maine Lakeside Cabins

I absolutely loved being a part of Alex and Nick's big day. The setting was more gorgeous than words on a beautiful lake in Caratunk, Maine. The morning was a bit overcast, a photographer's dream for all of our portraits and getting ready details. The ceremony was beautifully crafted by the bride, full of beautiful flowers and DIY details like the signs that were handmade by the bridesmaids. After the ceremony and portraits finished, there was a break in the clouds and the most gorgeous summer sun came flooding in right for the couple's portraits. They were literally spotlighted by the sun - it was pretty incredible. The evening was full of laughs and amazing dancing. All in all, I felt blessed to be a part of this amazing day.

And, as a lucky bonus for me, my husband assisted the wedding with me as it was our two year anniversary weekend. What an amazing way to spend it together! ♥
