I knew while photographing this shot of Alexandra and Peter that it was going to be something special. The gentle breeze was just perfect enough to hold Alexandra's gorgeous floor-length veil in the air. {And thanks to my second shooter, MC, for giving it the initial lift and then literally jumping out of the shot! Yes, that's how these shots are created!} But I think it's their genuine kiss that makes this image prize worthy! Canton, MA Engagement Session at a private Christmas Tree Farm {Adrienne and Nick}

I cannot stop swooning over this engagement session. Adrienne and Nick, like me, love everything Christmas. This season and all of it's cheer and sparkle and joy holds such a place in my heart. For me, I always think back to when I was so, so little, waiting at the top of the stairs on Christmas morning at my childhood home in Connecticut. That pine scent brings me back to that memory every time. For this session, we met at a private Christmas tree farm in Canton, MA and as we {literally} danced around and decorated a tree, the pine scent was so strong and so comforting. Adrienne and Nick brought not only decorations, but, perhaps my new favorite prop, mistletoe. They were absolutely adorable holding it up to kiss underneath, and snuggling up together near the trees. I am so excited to photograph their wedding next month and to share these previews with you. Enjoy!

Cambridge, MA Engagement Session {Farah & George}

I had such a blast with Farah, George, and their little pup Fuego at their Cambridge engagement session in September. Farah picked the setting to take advantage of the gorgeous fall foliage in Boston this season. I loved the golden yellows, reds and oranges that looked almost on fire at golden hour. What a perfect backdrop! And you would have thought Fuego was a dog actor because he had such was such a trooper the entire time, with such a spunky, fun personality to boot! We walked along the water to take advantage of a few different looks and ended on some gorgeous stone steps. The weather was perfect, crisp but not too cold, a little breeze but not too windy. All in all, it was a wonderful session! Take a look!

Somerville, MA Engagement Session at Dilboy Stadium {Emily + Kate}

Emily and Kate met as teammates on Boston's women's football team, the Boston Militia. Yup, you read that right, these two kick butt regularly. So it was naturally fitting that we photograph their engagement session where they first met, at Dilboy Stadium in Somerville, MA. Emily and Kate were not interested in your typical engagement session, instead we had tons of fun joking around and shooting them in various mock football plays. We went back to their home to get their little pup Ace involved in a few photographs as well! Given his high energy, I was amazed that he actually kept still for various shots! Such a cutie!
