Borrowed & Blue - Playful Summer Nuptials at Camp Claire by Tracy Rodriguez Photography

I am thrilled to see Caitlin and Matt's gorgeous wedding featured on the Borrowed and Blue wedding blog! It's my first to be featured in their "Gold Coast" section, highlighting all weddings in the CT shoreline counties. Caitlin and Matt were married at the Old Saybrook Congregational Church and hosted a playful DIY wedding at Camp Claire, in Old Lyme, CT with food trucks and all details camp-style. Photographs by the lake were a must and some of my favorites were shot with the deep greens of the wooded area as our backdrop. It was a beautiful day and one I am so happy to see featured.

I knew while photographing this shot of Alexandra and Peter that it was going to be something special. The gentle breeze was just perfect enough to hold Alexandra's gorgeous floor-length veil in the air. {And thanks to my second shooter, MC, for giving it the initial lift and then literally jumping out of the shot! Yes, that's how these shots are created!} But I think it's their genuine kiss that makes this image prize worthy! Canton, MA Engagement Photo Shoot at a Private Christmas Tree Farm {Diane and Dan}

I am so excited to share this engagement session with you! I met Diane and Dan through a mutual friend. {Actually, it's my good friend Lizzie who I just did a yoga photo blog on earlier this month!} I was so excited when they reached out to ask me to photograph their wedding. We chose this beautiful private Christmas tree farm in Canton, MA as the perfect seasonal backdrop for their engagement session. I love everything about it, from the Christmas feel to the pine smell in the air and especially this darling couple that smiled so big the entire session. Diane and Dan brought along a ton of fun americana props to decorate the session as well as a Marine flag to celebrate Dan's time in the Marines. I cannot wait to photograph their New Hampshire wedding next July! Take a look!
