Walpole, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Bird Park {Universal Power Yoga Teacher Trainee Mini Sessions!}

How lovely to wrap up my outdoor yoga photo shoots for the year with this incredible group of yoga teacher trainees from Universal Power Yoga in Norwood, MA! UPY recently graduated it's second class of 200 hour yoga teachers just last month so I'd love to offer a huge congratulations to the whole team! Yoga Teacher Training was one of the most profound experiences of my life so it's really special for me to be able to work with so many new teachers, just graduating, just having gone through something so life changing. I could write on this  topic forever, but alas, I'll get to some previews from our lovely session at Bird Park in Walpole, MA! Enjoy! A big thanks to Kristen, Erin, Mann, Stacie, and Gillian!

Announcing Chakra Power Yoga Waltham!!

I could not be more thrilled to announce that one of my closest friends, Nicole Burrill, is opening her second yoga studio, Chakra Power Yoga Waltham this weekend! Come join Nicole for her first class in the space on June 4th, 9:30am, for what is sure to be a powerful vinyasa flow class. And yes, I recognize that this post is completely filled with logistics and details and all things non personal because if I were to go into how proud of I am of this girl and what she has done for and brought to the yoga community and to me personally, I'd be balling in a hot second and we wouldn't want that. Love you, Nicole.

Brookline, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {w/ Chakra Power Yoga Teacher Trainees}

When Nicole Burrill, owner of Chakra Power Yoga in Braintree, MA, told me she was going to run a 200-hour yoga teacher training at her studio, I was instantly jealous. I completed my teacher training in 2011 but had my schedule allowed, I would have signed up to take it again with her. Nicole and I have been friends since we first connected in a yoga class at Beacon Hill Athletic Clubs I don't even remember how long ago. {7 years, maybe? Nicole?} It was before either of us had take teacher training, before either of us even knew we wanted to really. We connected in the way two best friends do though, instantly and as if we had known each other always. I am so incredibly grateful that our paths crossed when they did, that we bonded so quickly and that I am able to call her my friend and my teacher. I am beyond words, teary-eyed excited that she put together this incredible training and that I was able to photograph this group of kick-asana {too cheesy?} instructors for mini sessions last month. And, even more exciting, you ask?
