Milton, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Houghton's Pond {w/ Theresa Laham}

One of my favorite parts of my job is that I am privileged to meet and connect with so many wonderful people. My community of yoga teachers and friends grows and grows each year and includes the kindest, most endearing, beautiful people. And featured in this blog post, Theresa Laham, is one of those amazing people. She is so incredibly kind and has the most infectious beautiful smile. I absolutely love photographing her! You may remember Theresa from my blog post last year highlighting some of the Universal Power Yoga Teacher Trainees at their Bird Park mini sessions. Theresa reached out to have a full shoot and this time we chose one of my favorite hidden gems, Houghton's Pond in Milton, MA, so that we could capture the beautiful water and fall foliage. I had such a great time and I am so excited to share these previews with you!

Milton, MA Photo Shoot Outdoors {w/ Mary Keohane}

I could not be more excited to share previews from my yoga photo shoot with Mary Keohane. Earlier this week, Mary and I met in her gorgeous backyard to capture some yoga photography for her small business. Let me tell you, her backyard is just as lovely as she is. Complete with a stone structure, beautiful trees, and a brand new gorgeous pathway full of growing greenery, I was in a photographer's dream. It's truly a sacred space to photograph and I am sure that is not just from it's pure beauty but more so mainly to do with the woman and family cultivating it. Mary and I chatted about her classes and teachings and how she likes to create spaces for small groups to really become a community. In her classes, she provides a safe and supportive environment for her students to explore and grow; and, she makes sure that each student feels they are getting personalized attention. From working with Mary just this one time so far, I can tell you that she is a completely beautiful person inside and out, with an authentic, nurturing and inspiring energy. I cannot wait to get to one of her yoga classes myself!

Milton, MA Yoga Photo Shoot At Houghton's Pond {W/ Mary O'Toole - The Light Within Wellness}

After shooting at Houghton's Pond just last week, I was over the moon excited when Mary O'Toole, owner of The Light Within Wellness, was interested in photographing her yoga session in the beautiful space as well. I swear it is magical. And, I am amazed that we were able to find completely new and unique areas of the park to utilize. Mary was wonderful to work with and I was in awe of how certain areas of the space called to her. Her intuition and ability to ground herself in each of the spaces we shot was quite mesmerizing.

Mary loves helping others connect with their inner light and tuning into their energy. She helps her students connect to their inner wisdom and knowledge and trust their own guidance. Milton, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Houghton's Pond {W/ Kathryn Ford Richter}

It was such a pleasure to work with the lovely Kathryn Ford Richter earlier this week for her yoga photo shoot at Houghton's Pond. Kathryn is an absolute joy who exudes happiness and warmth. Shooting with her was like shooting with a dear friend even though we had only met briefly before this. It's what I absolutely love about what I do, getting to work with amazing yogis and seeing their spirit shine through during our photo shoots. We captured the beautiful scenery at Houghton's Pond in Milton, utilizing a few little nooks and sandy shores in remote places on the property. While I've spent a few lazy Sundays here with my husband, this was my first time photographing at the pond and I can say with certainty that I will back to capture this very New England location.
