Milton, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Houghton's Pond {w/ Lauren Turner}

I am so excited to share previews from my photo shoot earlier this week with the beautiful Lauren Turner at Houghton’s Pond in Milton, MA. Dedham, MA Family Photo Session at The Fairbanks House {W/ The Tharp Family}

Well I can go ahead and say that my fall family mini session with the Tharp family was by far my most hilarious one yet. I met Erica (co-owner of Common Ground Yoga in Framingham, MA) earlier this year when photographing her beautiful studio and was excited to meet her family this weekend. Her boys, Miles and Drew, are simply hilarious and the family chemistry is just palpable. I absolutely loved working with them and smiled the entire time while I edited this session. I love capturing all the laughs and seeing a glimpse of what a family dinner at the Tharp house would be like. I hope you enjoy these previews from their fall family mini sessions.

This was my second session captured at The Fairbanks House in Dedham. Built in 1641, The Fairbanks House is the oldest surviving timber-framed home in North America. And, isn’t this foliage just beautiful? This caught my eye the other evening while driving by and I was thrilled when they gave me permission to photograph on their grounds. Framingham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {W/ Common Ground Yoga}

The best perk of what I do is getting to meet so many incredible yogis all of the time. This was my first time photographing Common Ground Yoga and I really want to thank Lauren and Erica and their entire community for being so lovely and fun to work with. We photographed everything under the sun in our two day session from vinyasa yoga classes to restorative yoga classes to aerial yoga and kids’ aerial yoga, yoga teacher training sessions, ball rolling, teachers together, and even a series of mini sessions that’s going to be its own blog post because this one is just too dang long.

I’m excited to share some previews with you today of this beautiful space and community. If you haven’t yet been, I definitely recommend checking them out. You’ll see me in an aerial class some time soon because it’s been a decade since I’ve tried it and I was super intrigued photographing it. And, if you’re planning on attending Yoga Reaches Out Yogathon at Gillette Stadium on April 26th to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital, spoiler, Common Ground Yoga is going to have an awesome booth with their own aerial rig! Definitely go find them and check it out. If you haven’t registered for this event, go do it! Join their team, join mine, join on your own, it doesn’t matter. Just be there because it’s an awesome event and all about seva.
