Medfield, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {W/ Jenny Kennedy}

I am excited to share some previews from my yoga photo shoot with the lovely Jenny Kennedy. Jenny and I met last year in our 500 hour yoga teacher training with Jacqui Bonwell. I feel so lucky to have met her and the entire group in that training. We had an incredible group of people. Timing just seems to work out for things like these. And while I haven’t been shooting during the Covid pandemic, I decided that photographing Jenny outside and distanced would be safe for both of us. Without further ado, please enjoy some previews from our yoga photo shoot.

You can find Jenny teaching at Burning Wheel Yoga. And while I know you can’t see it here in the photographs, Jenny has one of the most incredible voices I’ve ever heard. You don’t want to miss any opportunity to hear her chanting.

Register for Yogathon 2020 with Lead Presenter Jacqui Bonwell!

By now you’ve heard the awesome news that New England’s one and only, Jacqui Bonwell, will be the lead presenter for this year’s Yogathon! It’s our 10th year and we’re going big! So here’s my shout out, as a participant and photographer, that you should definitely be there. Join your studio’s team, my team, shout out Jacqui Bonwell, join as an individual. It doesn’t matter. It’s one team, really.

It’s a heartfelt day of community and fun as we raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital. So get your asana over there. Common Ground Yoga is even going to have an aerial yoga rig at their booth. Now how cool is that?

Lenox, MA Yoga Mini Sessions at Kripalu {w/ Jacqui Bonwell Teacher Trainees}

Last month, I had the unique opportunity to attend a week long yoga retreat at Kripalu out in Lenox, MA to kick off my 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training with Jacqui Bonwell. With no sessions planned, I couldn’t leave my cameras at home for such a scenic location. So I was thrilled when so many yogis were up for doing some impromptu sunrise yoga mini sessions. Thanks for getting up extra early with me, guys! I loved it and can’t wait to do more with y’all! Enjoy!

Lenox, MA Yoga Mini Session at Kripalu {w/ Jacqui Bonwell}

When the “spiritual mother of New England” Jacqui Bonwell posted that she would be holding another advanced yoga teacher training, I jumped onboard and, with a pretty full plate, I decided to add on something just for me. We kicked off our 300 hour last month with a week at Kripalu. I’m still floating. It was heavenly. And, I was honored to photograph my teacher for a mini yoga session one morning on the beautiful, scenic grounds. Enjoy!
