Hi, everyone! Look at that .. I’m back! :) I’ve spent the bulk of 2019 loving up every minute with my son and now I’m ready to return to shooting just in time for the end of this hot, hot summer, and my favorite season to photograph in, the fall. And to kick it all off, none other than the radiant Rachel Books Smoller . We combo-ed a yoga and family session to bring you some beautiful images of Rachel with her family, including another little one on the way! Rachel is a phenomenal prenatal yoga teacher. She personally got me through my pregnancy so I can highly recommend her if you or anyone you know is expecting and looking for a wonderful yoga teacher and community. OFF AUTO Beginners Photography Workshop - Dec 3, 2016 - Dedham, MA

I could not be more excited to announce that I will be hosting another Beginners Photography Workshop! Mark your calendars for OFF AUTO on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to 1pm!

This workshop is perfect for beginner photographers who are looking to learn more about photography, specifically how to take their DSLR cameras off Automatic and into Manual. If you purchased a camera for a Europe vacation or to photograph your kids but defer to your camera phone instead because your fancy camera is too daunting to take out of the bag, come learn more about it to make it less scary and more accessible. We'll learn how to manipulate the settings to create the photographs you are looking to capture.

This four-hour workshop will be held with no more than 10 students to keep an intimate and personalized setting, and will include a two-hour open forum presentation, one-hour practical {yes, actually using your camera!} and one-hour regroup with Q&A over lunch.

The cost is $295 and there are currently two promotions to reduce the cost for those looking to save a little money. The early bird $265 special starts today and runs through November 4th. And, if you book with a friend, you can take an additional $30 off. You read that right! If you do both, sign up before 11/4 and sign up with a friend, you can save $60!

Note that you do not have to own any camera equipment to attend the workshop. I will have my equipment on hand for those who do not yet own DSLRs. If you do own a camera body and lens(s), I highly encourage you to bring your gear so that you can learn right on your own device.

Dedham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at MIT Endicott House {w/ Ciara Clark}

Looking at the forecast for my yoga photo shoot with Ciara Clark earlier this week left me with my jaw dropped! I just couldn't believe that we could be so lucky as to be shooting in late October in the near 80's! To have all of this warmth with the perfect mix of beautiful fall foliage was almost too good to be true.

Ciara and I shot at the beautiful MIT Endicott House in Dedham, MA, capturing tons of outdoor beauty in all of its unique spaces. We shot a variety of poses from super challenging arm balances {shout out to ashtavakrasana - eight angle pose - that balance is something fierce!} to warriors and standing balances to simple seated meditative poses. Ciara rocked them all with beauty and grace and I now can't wait to share some previews with you.

Ciara currently teaches at Acorn Yoga in Brighton and Gold's Gym in South Boston. She also teaches special events and classes at MoveWith.com and at the Hands to Heart Center, a local non-profit organization that provides free yoga classes for people living with poverty and trauma in Boston.

Dedham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {W/ Chrissy Flori}

I'm so excited to share photographs from my recent yoga photo shoot with Chrissy Flori. Chrissy is the Retail Specialist and a Yoga Instructor at Core Power Yoga. For our shoot, she chose the beautiful MIT Endicott House in Dedham, MA. The backdrops are serene and one of a kind. I just love the hanging succulents, white washed brick, white stone staircase and quaint barn. You would never guess that such a beautiful venue was tucked away in the woods of Dedham, but there it is. We had a great time photographing a wide range of poses. Take a look!
