Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at the Arnold Arboretum {w/ Anna Platnikova}

If I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times, I absolutely love shooting at The Arnold Arboretum. I just love that no matter when you go, there is something new and something lovely and something unique to fit with my lovely and unique clients. And this yoga photo shoot with Anna Platnikova was no exception. The only exception here was that Anna was referred to me by none other than my adoring husband! And I have to say, while he's enjoyed a handful of yoga classes {thank you, Chanel Luck and Nina Petruzzo} and used to attend my classes when I was first teaching, this is the first time a yoga teacher has reached out to me as a referral so kudos to him! {And you should have seen the smile on his face when I told him!}

Photographing with Anna was an absolute dream. She is completely stunning, incredibly kind, and has the best smile. And, as all of my clients know, if you laugh at my dorky jokes, you're golden in my book. Towards the end of our session, Anna put on the most radiant blush dress and white floral crown and I swear my jaw dropped. Shooting yoga poses in unique outfits to fit your brand {ahem, shout out to my marketing major} is something I absolutely love. It helps distinguish yourself and shows your character and I am all for it. Needless to say, I could not be more excited to share a few previews from our yoga photo shoot.

Dedham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {Lizzie Baker}

I cannot even tell you how thrilled I was when one of my closest friends told me she was interested in Yoga Teacher Training and even more specifically at one of my other closest friends' yoga studios .... and what did I think? Um, yes!!!! Lizzie telling me she was interested was as exciting as when Nicole told me she was kicking off the program at Chakra Power Yoga! I have to say, I am openly jealous and now need to convince Nicole to hold a 500 hour so that I can attend. {Hint hint, wink, wink}

So, last Sunday, in the November cold, Lizzie and I shot around to get her some introductory photography and we had so much fun doing it. I absolutely loved her winter attire for this session, especially that comfy plaid scarf that is now on my Christmas list.

And, I'm excited to say that Nicole and I are planning a Spring date for yoga teacher trainee mini sessions with the inaugural Chakra Power Yoga 200 hour class!

Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {Danae Laura}

I had such a great time working with Danae Laura at our fall yoga photo shoot in the Arboretum. The best part about shooting at the Arboretum is that the trees and scenery are constantly changing with the season so each session there is completely unique. For this session, Danae and I both immediately noticed the light coming through a group of trees that was just stunning. We started there and almost as if we had ESP, we both gravitated towards the same areas in the park. We utilized a gorgeous yellow tree that amazingly had not yet lost its leafs and some gorgeous green areas. At the end, Danae also spotted a low tree branch that looked as though it was made as a platform for some yoga poses. It was truly a stunning shoot. Take a peak!
