Yogathon 2022 is on the Field This Sunday!

Yogathon 2017, 900+ yogis strong!

Just when we thought Yogathon couldn’t get any better, they upped it from the Gillette Stadium Field House to the actual field! Yep, that’s right, you’ll be celebrating where the Patriots play!

Yogathon is a day long yoga party that benefits Boston Children's Hospital. It’s a day of inspiration, of reaching out, and of just plain fun. Every year, the energy in the air is palpable.

This year, I am excited to share that my associate photographer Shawon will be photographing the event on behalf of Tracy Rodriguez Photography. While I would love to be there in person, I know that Shawon will be absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to see it all through her lens and share the photographs with all of you.

Yogathon 2013

As many of you know, I have been involved with an incredible nonprofit, Yoga Reaches Out, for the last six years. Each year I have committed to fundraising, to introducing the organization to more and more friends and family, to joining their committee, and, last year to forming my first ever team for New England Yogathon! This year, I am excited to say that I am again forming a team and I would love to have you on it!

Yogathon 2012

If you've been there you know, there is just something absolutely incredible about this day. The collective energy in the room of 1,000 giving, like-minded, beautiful people is palpable. I look forward to this day like a kid waiting for Christmas.

To give you a bit of background, each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $250 for Boston Children's Hospital. And through those donations along with sponsorships, I am so proud to say that this event has funded an incredible wellness center for the families and loved ones at Boston Children's Hospital, providing yoga, reiki, massage, and more.

Along with the personal goal that I set for myself each year of $1,000 in fundraising, I am adding to that the goal of gathering people to join Team Tracy Rodriguez Photography for a day of yoga with a purpose! So please mark your calendars for Sunday, April 29th, at Gillette Stadium (Foxboro, MA)!

Over 900 yogis linked arm in arm to support Boston Children's Hospital Wellness Center.

This is certainly the largest group photograph I've ever taken!

I could not be more excited to share photographs from last Sunday's event at Gillette Stadium. New England Yogathon 2017 touched my heart as I know it did many of yours. With over 900 yogis participating, this year's event raised $300,000 for Boston Children's Hospital and Off the Mat, Into the World. {And counting ... fundraising is open until May 30, 2017.}

I want to give a particular shout out to my team for raising $5,000 in its first year. I have been a part of this event for the last six years, photographing, fundraising and joining the committee, but this was my first year creating a team so I want to say a huge thanks to the 17 members who truly made my day, Ali, Lizzie, Jessica, Sue, Johanna, Caitlin, John, "Paul Plank" aka my friend Danny who joined as secret surprise, Melissa, Mary, Stephanie, Melissa R, Mike, Lisa, my sister Lexi and my husband Thomas.

Thank you to Sarah Gardner for founding this incredible organization, Melissa Lynott for executing so well, and the entire committee for all of their amazing support. And, thanks for letting me play my role. I love being a part of this amazing yoga community.
