Cambridge, MA Wedding at Technology Square and Area Four Restaurant {Vanessa and Edin}

My favorite thing about photographing weddings is that each one is completely unique. Well, okay fine, my favorite thing is actually that I get to meet and work with so many incredible people and step into their lives for this amazing time - but that really leads into the first part because each wedding is custom crafted by the couple. For Edin and Vanessa, I was actually only with them for one hour on their wedding day but as you'll see from the photographs below, that was the perfect amount of time to come in and capture some insanely gorgeous portraits of this amazing couple and their family and friends. Vanessa and Edin must have had a karma on their side because this December wedding day was unseasonably warm. These two were naturals, completely romantic and adorable. I loved their blush and grey pallet complete with a gorgeous Winston Flowers bouquet and how Edin made Vanessa laugh when the wind blew her hair all about.

As you scroll down you may recognize two familiar faces, Gabrielle and Cesar, from their winter wedding in South Boston earlier in the year. Cesar is Edin's cousin and Gabby was the one who put me in contact to photograph Edin and Vanessa's big day. Don't you just love when things come full circle? I love working with this incredibly sweet family so I hope to photograph many more weddings in the future! Enjoy!

Cambridge, MA Wedding at the Cambridge Boat Club {Angie + Joel}

I am thrilled to bring to you Angie and Joel's Cambridge Boat Club wedding from last November. I first met Angie while photographing my other love, yoga. Angie was part of Chanel Luck's teacher training group at Radiant Yoga Boston and I was hired to photograph mini sessions for each of the teacher trainees to help them get started in the industry. So while I only worked with Angie for about 10 minutes, I knew instantly that she was a kind soul and beautiful person. Flash forward to last year when she and Joel got engaged and reached out to me about their wedding. I fell in love with both of them during their consult because they were just so sweet and so adorably in love. They picked the Boston Shipyard and Marina for their Boston Engagement Session last summer because Angie had previously lived in the area and it was very meaningful to them. The backdrop was stunning and the two of them were a ton of fun. Come November and their wedding day, the temperature was freezing but the day was beautiful and the two of them and their families all braved the cold for portraits on the dock. Their first look was held under a romantic weeping willow tree to the side of the boat house and their ceremony inside was intimate with their family and friends seated and standing in a circle around the couple. Angie and Joel opened the floor during speeches and hilarity ensued. It was a beautiful, teary-eyed, fun loving day and I can't wait to share it with you. Enjoy.

Cambridge, MA Engagement Session {Farah & George}

I had such a blast with Farah, George, and their little pup Fuego at their Cambridge engagement session in September. Farah picked the setting to take advantage of the gorgeous fall foliage in Boston this season. I loved the golden yellows, reds and oranges that looked almost on fire at golden hour. What a perfect backdrop! And you would have thought Fuego was a dog actor because he had such was such a trooper the entire time, with such a spunky, fun personality to boot! We walked along the water to take advantage of a few different looks and ended on some gorgeous stone steps. The weather was perfect, crisp but not too cold, a little breeze but not too windy. All in all, it was a wonderful session! Take a look!
