Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at the Arnold Arboretum {W/ Anna Plotnikova}

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Anna Plotnikova at one of my favorite locations, The Arnold Arboretum. Anna and I actually shot there together just last year - you can see previews from our first yoga photo shoot on the blog. And because we both loved it so much, we decided to come back for this year's session. One thing I love about this location is that even though we were in some of the exact same areas, we were able to capture a totally new perspective as the seasons change and each day's light provides something unique to photograph. The recent rain had saturated the grass and plants so much that we were able to capture some really gorgeous, deep greens, and the overcast sky gave us a nice, even light for our session.

As you'll be able to tell from any of her photographs, Anna is an absolute joy to photograph, always smiling and cheerful. Her positive energy is infectious. And while I have to admit, at 33 weeks pregnant, I was feeling pretty tired before our session. After spending an hour together though, I was full of energy and left with such a big smile and heart full of gratitude.

You can catch Anna teaching in Boston at Health Yoga Life and make sure to follow her on Instagram for more!

Weston, MA Intimate Wedding at the Weston Town Hall {Laura + Fred}

Congratulations, Laura and Fred! I am so honored to have been a part of this beautiful couple's elopement last week at the Weston Town Hall. I met up with Laura and Fred to capture their elopement ceremony and some portraits of the newlyweds. And let me say, they were so much fun to work with. Not only were they super adorable together, snuggling up for portraits and laughing the whole time, but they also completely embraced the rainy weather. While it was just a drizzle, it was definitely constant and it didn't phase these two for a second. After all, it also brought with it some really beautiful overcast skies, a photographer's dream for an 11am wedding.

The ceremony took place on the steps of Lanson Park, with the beautiful Town Hall building just behind us. We utilized the building's classic charm, the red brick and stone pillars and ventured around Lason Park to capture the summer time greenery. On the way in, I also spotted a gorgeous stone wall covered in ivy at a nearby church, The First Parish Church in Weston, so we hopped in the car to capture some images with the beautiful background as well.

While I was only with Laura and Fred for an hour, I can easily say that it was a total pleasure to photograph them on their wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Dedham, MA Wedding at The Endicott Estate {George + Jose}

George and Jose were married last month at the beautiful Endicott Estate in Dedham, MA. The overcast skies provided the perfect lighting to photograph the handsome couple and their family and friends outside, taking advantage of the grounds of the estate. Their ceremony followed on the front lawn where the couple exchanged vows and rings and were pronounced husband and husband with smiles and cheers all around.

And while they learned just a few weeks in advance that the Town of Dedham was going to be celebrating Flag Day on the same date with a parade and fireworks surrounding their venue, the couple embraced the ciaos, and even enjoyed the marching band heard in the distance during their ceremony. It helped that George met his Maid of Honor while both playing the piccolo, a unique sound we could hear in the band, so the whole thing was entirely perfect.Congratulations, George and Jose!

And now some previews from their wedding day! Enjoy!
