Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at the Arnold Arboretum {w/ Morgan Furze}

Whether it be the next season, the next year, or even years after we first meet, I absolutely love when clients reach back out to schedule more photo shoots. I first worked with Morgan back in 2015. You may remember her Arnold Arboretum Yoga Photo Shoot and the gorgeous dusty rose colored puff flowers {yes, I should probably have looked up the real name of this beautiful floral tree} and poses in front of the walls of ivy. This past week, we revisited the Arboretum to catch some beautiful spring time backdrops for her follow up yoga photo shoot. And, I'm so glad that we did. Everything was fresh and green and blooming. I love shooting there because it just feels so full of life. And, Morgan, as always, was glowing herself. I could photograph that smile every season!

I am excited to share previews from our shoot below, and, make sure to follow Morgan on Instagram to see more! You can also find her teaching for Harvard Recreation.

Walpole, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Bird Park {Humble Warrior Yoga Mini Sessions}

I had a great time working with the team of teachers from Humble Warrior Yoga last week for their yoga mini sessions. We met at the gorgeous Bird Park in Walpole, MA to capture their sessions and I am excited to share some previews with you today. A big thanks to Ashley Brayden, Marie Maloney, Julie Atwood, Kerrie Baldwin, Debbie Carty and her daughter, Julie Elpus and her daughter, Paula Leeds, and Catherine Dunphy for a great shoot!

While I am sad to share the news that Humble Warrior Yoga is closing on June 11th, I know that we will see these beautiful teachers out in the community, teaching around the greater Boston area.

Three Years Full Time!

Boston Yoga Photographer

I have to admit, things have been running business as usual around here for so long that it took a Facebook memory status this morning to remind me that today marks THREE FULL YEARS running Tracy Rodriguez Photography full time!

I started shooting in 2000, went to yoga teacher training in 2011 - which changed my life (career perspective, life goals, general outlook) - and I started shooting yoga photography directly following. I added on wedding photography in 2013 and then in early 2014, I left my corporate marketing job to run this business with all of my might.

I have loved every second of it, yes, even the grueling number crunching and tedious tasks, because they all add up to me being able to pursue this passion of mine full time.

I am so grateful to all of you, my clients, my fans and followers, my supporters. Please know that I think of you daily and appreciate everything you give. So, from my heart, know I love you. And I thank you.

And if you're in that place, looking to find a way to make your passion your career, know that you can do it. I promise. You have everything it takes. Feel free to comment below for some inspiration or message me any time. I've got your back.

Here's to another year at Tracy Rodriguez Photography!

Namaste.

Tracy

PS - Hey fellow business owners! How do you celebrate your successes? I'll be honest, I typically don't. I may mention something to my husband, mom or sister on the phone. I definitely smile ear to ear. Perhaps I do a little blog shout out here and there. But, in a work from home, one woman show, it's hard to have, say, a team dinner celebration. So what do you do? I'd love to know!
