Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {W/ Lauren D'Angelo}

I could not be more thrilled that the beautiful Lauren D'Angelo was my muse for my first yoga photo shoot of 2017! Lauren's energy was absolutely palpable during our photo shoot; it was a blessing to photograph both her positivity and kindness that radiates in her smile, and her strength that comes through in her challenging poses.

This lady has a ton of amazing events and classes coming up that I'd love to shout out. You'll definitely want to check them out starting with her Family Yoga Workshop this Saturday, 3/4 at Universal Power Yoga in Norwood, MA. She has also created an amazing vin/yin style workshop called Evenflow which she'll be teaching at She Breathes Wellness and Balance in Walpole, MA on 3/10 and 4/7 and back at UPY on 4/21. You can sign up for these workshops and see her regular class schedules at UPY and Stil Studio in Dedham, MA through each of the studio's websites. Lauren is also teaching an outdoor yoga class to benefit Smith Farm on 5/6 at the beautiful Borderland State Park in Sharon, MA. How cool is that?

Lauren chose this charming brick Breather space in Boston for her photo shoot which photographed absolutely perfectly for this session. We had a gorgeous sunny day so the light coming in through the windows was abundant and we definitely capitalized on that to capture lightness in both the more accessible and the more challenging poses. We then headed down to the waterfront to incorporate some of the iconic Boston harbor into our photo shoot. I can't wait to share a few previews today!

South Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {On the Spot Yoga}

I feel so grateful that I got to work with Allison Burke and her team of amazing teachers at On The Spot Yoga. This team brings yoga classes straight to you! They teach at corporate offices all around the Boston area. Imagine yoga class lunch breaks! I wish I had that as a benefit when I worked corporate. I seriously cannot recommend this team enough. {Read: Go talk to your Office Manager or HR rep to set up a class asap!} We had a blast walking around South Boston looking for areas to show off all the characteristics of the city - the multi-toned brick,  over-advertised traffic light poles, and of course the beautiful Boston waterfront. We captured so many fun photographs; it was hard to pick just a few of each teacher! A big thanks to Allison Burke, Jennifer Murray, Carolina Sutherland, Tracy Spinos, Amy Sinclair and Emily Wiswell for an awesome photo shoot! Take a look!

Boston, MA Engagement Session w/ Sasha & Brian at the Boston Waterfront

Sasha & Brian picked out the Boston Waterfront and this walking bridge in particular for their engagement session because it's their favorite place to bring visitors. It shows the character of Boston without being overly touristy. So we grabbed a bunch capturing the industrial side on The Old Northern Avenue Bridge and I just love the harshness of the metal and all of the lines and angles it creates in this series. We then headed to the water and got some softer, lighter images with the boats water docked in the background. Most importantly, their Pitbull Booker came to join us for a few at the end of our session! He is so handsome! Take a look!
